I am the zombie.

Sleep deprived me of a visit last night and I don't know why. All I know is that I'm a freakin zombie today. Workouts are going decent still as my hip is staying hip and I'm up to about 2/3 volume, although nothing is really too intense. I ran a steady run on Monday at Amazon trail. It wasn't 10+ miles yet, but it was a comfortable 7 miler at 5:43 avg pace. Yesterday was an easy 70 minutes. Today was an easy 20 minute shakeout half-asleep this morning and then after work it's 6-8 x 300m. I've been running with my hand weights a lot lately and doing a lot of core drills and light weight excercises, so my form is starting to tighten up a bit, but things still feel a bit strange. Why the hell can't I sleep though??? Ah, maybe it's because I've got some crazy new job offer and I'm trying to weigh things out with my lifestyle, work, running, coaching etc. and see exactly what makes sense and how much money is really worth to me. Okay, maybe this isn't making much sense right now, but neither am I because I'm so damn tired. |
